Meet Bruce

"After many years in textile and product sourcing and manufacturing for multi-national clothing and homewares chains, I relocated to New Zealand not expecting to become a business owner again. However, when I came across "Helen's Sample Room" in Auckland, it felt like a natural fit and segue from the businesses I have built and grown in my career."  

 

In 2021 the transition of ownership was complete and we rebranded to Tintex.

 

Our focus with Tintex has been moving into a broader, more vertically integrated space, to service our clients end-to-end needs. Our focus has been on improving efficiencies and adding depth to our production and technical garment manufacturing capabilities.

 

Our cutting and production facilities can now produce large volumes of products to service not just New Zealand boutiques, but chain stores too.

Our ability to produce high quality customised samples and technical garments has created a niche specialism at Tintex, where we are able to produce bespoke pieces for marketing campaigns, film sets and winning Olympic sports apparel, such as track cycling, rowing and downhill skiing.

 

More recently in our new premises in Wairau Park, we have added further capability to support New Zealand's independent business owners, through our ability to mass-handle stock for our customers in terms of warehousing, relabelling, stock management and repacking as well as pick-pack-and-ship ecommerce logistics management for our clients.
